Payment Policy
When you confirm your tour with Israel Elite Tours, we will ask for an initial non-refundable deposit of $250 to secure your tour dates and your cost for guiding and driving services. Please note that this deposit does not guarantee the cost of hotel rooms or any additional services until payment has been made. About six weeks prior to your arrival in Israel, we will request a payment of 50% of your total cost for services provided by Israel Elite Tours, and your remaining balance will be due at the end of your tour. You can make your initial payment via bank wire transfer or credit card. Please note that credit card payments are subject to a fee of 2.75% for Visa and 3.50% for Mastercard. The outstanding balance can be paid in cash or by credit card.
If you confirm services with Israel Elite Tours less than six weeks before your arrival, we will require a confirmation deposit of 50%, the first $250 of which is non-refundable.
Tipping your Guide/Driver
Gratuities for your guide and driver are not included in the cost of your tour. It is customary to tip between 15% and 25% of the cost of your guiding and driving services, as tipping is an essential part of the economy in Israel. Please note that tips cannot be added to credit card charges, so you will need to pay them separately in cash.
Cancellation Policy
Your initial deposit of $250 is non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation.
If you need to cancel your tour, please provide us with written notice at least two weeks prior to your arrival date in Israel to avoid any additional cancellation fees. If you cancel between seven and thirteen days prior to your arrival date, you will forfeit one night's cost at each hotel, 25% of your driving/guiding fees, and your initial deposit fee of $250. If you cancel between six days and forty-eight hours in advance, you will forfeit 50% of your total cost (including guiding and driving fees, transportation booked by Israel Elite Tours, hotel rooms, entrance fees prepaid by Israel Elite Tours, and any other services booked by Israel Elite Tours, such as party arrangements or special dinners), plus your initial $250 deposit. If you cancel less than 48 hours in advance, no refund will be given.
Please note that cancellation policies for large touring groups may differ from the ones specified above if they have separate contractual arrangements with Israel Elite Tours. Please check your contract to ensure that you understand the cancellation policy for your group.
We highly recommend that you purchase travel insurance as many unforeseen circumstances can interfere with your travel plans.
